Kaleidoscope Children’s Museum
New interactive children’s museum designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and exploration, best for ages 3-10, to discover the magic of art, science, and imaginative play.
Movies
Private screening of a movie of your choice in our unique historic theater. Includes access to the theater foyer, freshly popped popcorn, and a technician to run the movie.
Art Galleries
Tour all four of our art galleries including the Frank McCall permanent collection, Contemporary collection, and the rotating exhibitions in the Vereen and Traverse galleries. Scavenger hunts help guide younger children through the exhibits.
Custom Workshops
The Arts Center can create custom educational workshops for schools depending on the number of students and the ages of the students. Workshops could include pick and paint ceramics, acrylic painting, stained glass, dance, music, ukulele, or a storytime.
Kaleidoscope Program for 2nd & 4th Graders
Funded by the Moultrie Service League, each school year every 2nd grade class and every 4th grade class are able to visit The Arts Center on a free field trip to experience a day of art. Kathy Nelson serves as our Kaleidoscope instructor and provides quality art instruction for two different projects, as well as, a tour of the facility and history lesson. Students are able to explore their creativity, create their own original art, and learn about the various opportunities to participate in courses at The Arts Center.
